Ride of Champions and Qatar Cycling Superstars Celebrate the Beauty of Cycling in Doha
Qatar is excited for this Friday’s Ride of Champions (www.rocdoha.qa) presented by the Qatar Tourism Authority and organised by the Qatar Cyclists Centre funded by Ministry of Culture and Sport.
Two of Qatar’s cycling superstars Ali Bin Towar Al-Kuwari and Abdulla Al-Hammadi got on their bikes to explore Doha in preparation for the ride on November 24 th.
Ride of Champions is nearly full but entries are still available for the family and beginners ride on closes roads in Qatar Foundation, as well as Kids events at Oxygen Park.
Ali and Abdulla are two of Qatar’s most inspiring cyclists, Ali recently road through 21 Latin American countries making an Al Jazeera documentary and Abdulla has just returned from cycling 2278km top to bottom of Japan.
Join Ali and Abdulla on November 24 th at the ride of champions. Online entries close on November 20 th at midnight with limited walk up entries available Wednesday and Thursday night from 5-8pm behind ceremonial court at Qatar Foundation.
The event is presented by Qatar Tourism Authority and partnered by Qatar Cyclists, the Ministry of Culture and Sport, the Qatar Cycling Federation, Qatar Foundation, Ooredoo, Rayyan Water and GMC and supported by Garmin, Rasen Sports, Carbon Wheels, Al Shaqab and Adidas Eyewear.
