BIKE HIRE from Qatar Cyclist Centre:
Qatar Cyclists Centre are providing bicycle hire services for registered participants. Road, City or Kids Bikes are available. Bike hire is 75 QAR per bicycle for the event. You can book your bike and helmet via this LINK.

- You will need to present your QID, hand in your EVENT WAIVER
- Participants entered for the Road, Family and Beginners rides will receive Nalini cycling jersey (kids under 9 y.o. will receive T-shirt)
- Kids under 9 y.o. will receive T-shirt, however you may purchase a jersey for a supplementary QAR 100 for kids if you wish.
- Sizes will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Each rider will receive 1 x Bike Number and 1 x Race Number, you must wear both on event day!
COLLECTION ON BEHALF OF SOMEONE ELSE: You will need to have a letter and copy of the rider’s ID that shows you have permission to collect on behalf of him/her.

Event Type
The Ooredoo Ride of Champions is a Fun Ride and not a race. Participants will however receive an official finishing time to compare your result with previous year’s ROC events.

Venue Facilities
Parking, Bag Drop, Bike Park, Technical Support from Rasen Sports, Toilet Facilities, Farmer’s Market
Bag Drop
There will be bag drop facilities from 5:00am. Please note you will have to present your race number to collect your bag once you have finished your ride. No number, no bag. Bag Collection will be from 08:00am – 11:30am.
Bike Park
There will be a bike park area at the fan zone area where you can leave your bike. Please note you will have to keep you bike number on your bike and race number with you to be able to collect your bike. Bike Park will be operational from 08:00 – 12:30pm ROC Fan Zone
ROC Fan Zone
All participants will receive a commemorative finishers medal and a complimentary refreshment pack.
Make sure to visit the booths of our sponsors and partners at the “ROC Fan Zone” of Ceremonial Court to enjoy fun-filled activities and satisfy your cravings for healthy food and beverages after your ride! All cyclists are encouraged to celebrate the day together and socialise with each other as cycling community.
Friday Prayer
For all those would wish to join the Friday Prayer there is a Mosque located inside Qatar Foundation, close to Ceremonial Court, and can be used for prayer.

Event Safety
Safety is our first priority!
The event will enjoy a full service of vehicle support. The rides outside Qatar Foundation will be supported with police cars and lead vehicles in front of each ride to ensure the route is correct and clear. There will also be support vehicles along the route which will also include tech-support from our local bike shops. Backup vehicles will be available at the back end of the ride behind the last cyclists to assist anyone that cannot continue due to any unforeseen reasons. Medical services will also be present with ambulance vehicles behind each ride group and near start/finish area.
The Family ride and Kids ride in Qatar Foundation will be executed in a closed circuit, free of vehicles. Medical services will also be present.
Family, Beginners and Youth Event
This is not only just a Cycling Event but also a festival of cycling for the whole family. A day for all to come out and enjoy the day in Qatar Foundation. The cyclist will have the challenge to complete their rides from Qatar Foundation to central Qatar and back where they will meet their families and enjoy some relaxation and hospitality together.

Ability Friendly means that we cater to people within different impairment groups. We are currently referring to these groups as visual impairments, hearing impairments, physical impairments, learning difficulties and Autism.
Kids Rides
Because you are never too young to start, and we want to encourage all to be a part of the bicycle lifestyle! The kids ride will take place on the Green Spine opposite Ceremonial Court.
